Website Usability & Gara Rock Accessibility

The gararock.com website has been developed using accessible design. Our website has been developed to ensure that all information and content is available to the widest possible audience. Our website has been tested on the most commonly used browsers to ensure all features are accessible. We constantly review how our website performs and we’ll introduce improvements and necessary changes as browsers and user behaviour evolves. Gara Rock is built into a cliff edge therefore some of our accommodation is accessible by stairs only. We do have some hotel bedrooms which are accessible via lift, these are our Sunset View rooms and Junior Suites (this information is listed on our website under each room category along with the style of bathroom, i.e shower over bath or separate rainfall shower). We also have two Suites which are on street level which are numbers 8 and 9, we always encourage our guests to chat to us directly so we can advise the best accommodation to suit their individual requirements.

The pool area, spa, restaurant and cinema are accessible via lift and there is a ramp in the car park. The bedrooms do not have adapted bathrooms but the Junior Suites do have a large walk in shower which is in a wet-room style so this would be suitable for a wheelchair should someone have this requirement.
